Event Details
The Cork Summer Show is Munster’s largest and longest-running agricultural showcase, celebrating Irish farming, food, family life, innovation, and rural tradition since 1810. Taking place annually at the Cork Showgrounds in Curraheen, the event attracts over 40,000 visitors across two days and features hundreds of competition classes spanning livestock, equestrian, horticulture, baking, arts, crafts, and traditional skills.
The show combines agricultural excellence with family entertainment, live demonstrations, educational experiences, artisan food, sustainability initiatives, and community engagement. Highlights include Agri Aware demonstrations, live farming experiences, machinery displays, interactive learning zones, vintage attractions, family activities, and sensory-friendly initiatives.
The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) also plays an important role within the Cork Summer Show, supporting entrepreneurship, small businesses, innovation, and regional enterprise development. Through exhibitor participation, networking opportunities, and enterprise-focused showcases, LEO helps connect local businesses, start-ups, food producers, makers, and rural enterprises with thousands of visitors and industry professionals attending the event each year.
