Get ready for something new and exciting—the inaugural Irish Chili Festival is coming to Marina Market Cork on June 27-28, 2026. This brand-new, free, family-friendly event will bring Ireland’s first dedicated chili festival to life, celebrating all things spicy over a full weekend of flavor and fun.

Visitors can explore a diverse marketplace featuring international hot sauces from across Europe and beyond, fresh chilis and plants, and sample products from specialty vendors. The festival caters to all dietary preferences with BBQ, food trucks, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available throughout the weekend.

Families will appreciate the dedicated kids’ play area, and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the festivities.

A highlight of the weekend is the Irish Amateur Chili Eating Competition, hosted by the renowned Clifton Chili Club—featured on Netflix’s “We Are the Champions” and boasting over 300 million YouTube views. The competition is open to everyone, offering prizes, giveaways, and serious bragging rights for those brave enough to compete.

The Irish Chili Festival takes place at Marina Market, Centre Park Road, Ballintemple, Cork (T12 YX76). Entry is free with donations accepted, making it an accessible event for everyone curious about the world of chili.
